Throughout the Gospels Jesus reveals His divine power, among other ways, through the healing of the sick. As the prophet Isaiah said, "a bruised reed he will not break, a smoldering wick he will not quench." The Church continues this healing ministry through the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.

The Anointing of the Sick is intended first and foremost for the spiritual strengthening and forgiveness of those facing grave illness, as well as interceding that God's healing power would be shown to those who are anointed.

If you, or someone you love, is facing grave illness and is interested in receiving the Anointing of the Sick, please contact the parish offices and ask for one of the priests. The Anointing of the Sick can be offered as soon as a diagnosis is made and one need not wait until the illness is seriously progressed or until someone is on their deathbed.
